Midland Air Service Experts was excited to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this incredible event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this amazing cause and the nationwide event has raised $559,241.44. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle club rides every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and participating in wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
